Introduction - a 22+ years long tool

The 'Dual Screen' Transliterator which you find in AAW (short for "Azhagi's Addins for MS Word") is not anything new. It has been already existing, ever since Azhagi's inception in 2000. But, it has been existing in 'Classic Azhagi' (i.e. Old Azhagi, released in 2000) only, and not in Azhagi+ which was released in 2011. Now, the same tool has been provided in AAW, in Unicode, but with characters limit. Those who are using Classic Azhagi's 'Dual Screen' Transliterator can "perhaps" opt to start using AAW's 'Dual Screen' Transliterator hereafter.

AAW's 'Dual Screen' Transliterator (DS, for short). What does it do?

DS helps you to do synchronous Tamil transliteration. i.e. you type your Tanglish text in an upper screen and the resultant Tamil text appears simultaneously in a bottom screen. For e.g. as you keep typing "neenga eppadi irukkeenga?" in the upper screen, its Tamil transliteration "நீங்க எப்படி இருக்கீங்க?" will keep appearing simultaneously/synchronously in a bottom screen. Is there any other 'dual screen' transliterator like the one found in AAW?

In 2000 or so, when DS was first released as part of 'Classic Azhagi', as far as I knew, it was Unique. May be it is still unique, even as of Jan 2023. I don't know. Only users have to let me know after using DS.

How to avail DS?

Kindly read this section ("How to avail AAW?") FULLY. Clear-cut instructions are present therein as to how to obtain the download link for AAW from me. Once you install AAW in your system, you can avail DS easily, as it is one of the several modules of AAW.

As I keep saying/writing repeatedly, Azhagi is God's Own App. So, the more you keep sharing your happiness (esp. effervescently, if you can, as written in detail here) on DS' features, the more Glory and Thanks to the Lord Almighty. Not anything you say appreciatively on DS goes to me, as I am a non-entity. All your feelings of joy, gratitude and appreciation reaches the Lord Almighty straight. That's the spirit in which I work with respect to Azhagi SatKarma. As Ever, All Glory and Thanks to the Lord Almighty only. For Ever. I am an utter non-entity.

So, my most humble request is that before trying to find out any bugs in DS and report the same to me, kindly share with me FIRST as to what you feel about AAW's various modules (DT, AT, RT, etc., etc., etc.) and their features.

That's to say, as such, you need not even try out AAW, initially. After going through the web page links carrying the features of AAW's various modules, just let me know heartily first, as to what you feel about the various modules (DT, AT, RT, etc., etc., etc.) and their features. That's what I welcome foremost, as the very first thing, from any user or user-wellwisher. Because, even if there are errors in any of the modules, they would anyway get corrected sooner or later.

What is important for me (from any user), as one's initial feedback, upon getting to know and use a new module/feature of AAW, is your hearty feelings. Features overview of DS

• As such, it is self-explanatory. Just a few points alone below.
  The number of characters you see displayed at the end of your Tamil text (in the bottom screen) is actually the number of characters you have so far typed in Tanglish (in the upper screen).
  "`" can be used as the delimiter to indicate English texts. For e.g. you can type `man`=manidhan. manidhan alone will get converted to Tamil and not 'man'.
