The Humble Devotee

As of December 2019, more than 3000 'Thought for the Day' quotes of our beloved Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba have been meticulously translated from English to Tamil by an ardent devotee - using Azhagi - day after day after day after day after day - since 2011 - without missing a single day as such (except during the floods in 2015 in Chennai, I believe). What a selfless service! Daily....... almost by 4am itself sometimes, one will get his Tamil translation of TFTD, by email. The ardent devotee (sir, by the way) is not a Tamil scholar at all. Yet, he translates so fast##. As per sir's wish, I am not mentioning his name here. Sairam. What a touchingly humble heart for sir! Sairam.

Following are the words of the sir himself so that you can understand sir's wish in the best perspective:

Using Azhagi only Swami does the translation everyday using me as an instrument. I have the TFD in Tamil from 2011, both in WORD as well as in PDF format.
... .. .
One humble request. ... .. . Kindly ensure that my name does not appear anywhere either as a writer or a translator. This is very important because we firmly believe that not only the original message is from Swami but also the translation is also by Swami only. We are just instruments only. Hope you understand.

Yours ever in Sai seva
... .. . ... .. .

(##) I asked sir once (on 10-Sep-2016 to be precise) as to how he is able to do his translation in such a natural way. My words were as follows:
Sairam.
sir, one thing I have always wondered. How do you translate so naturally? {Is it that} it just so happened that when you started translating, the skill developed naturally? Well, ultimately, I am aware that it is all our beloved Baba who helps and guides us in everything. Sairam.
Sairam.

For that, sir replied as follows:
Sairam, you are absolutely right. It is only HE and no one else does this. But in the whole process your major contribution with Azhagi is immense.

Well, as very rightly said by sir above, every SatKarma is Beloved Baba's only - whether it be sir's translations or Azhagi apps. For those of you who are not aware, the footer of almost every page of azhagi.com mentions the fact that Azhagi was NOT developed by me but only by the GOD Almighty. Sairam....

The TFTD (Thought for the Day) Email and Whatsapp Groups

Personally, I feel that the best thing any devotee can do, if they wish to, is to join the daily mailing list of TFTD (Thought for the Day) by sending a request to Sir at tfdtamil@gmail.com. That should give Sir mighty happiness, as a fellow devotee. Once you join the mailing list and if you prefer, Sir can send you 'Invite' to join the TFTD Whatsapp group too so that you can receive TFTD in Whatsapp too daily. Sairam.....
