In the human body Divine flows through all limbs as Rasa (Divine essence) and sustains them. This Divine principle is called Rasa-swarupini (Embodiment of Divine sweetness). This is called Angirasa. These Divine principles that permeate and sustain the physical body should also be worshipped as mother goddesses. Then there are the great sages, Maharishis, who investigated matters relating to good and evil, right and wrong, what elevates man or degrades him, and, as a result of their labour and penance, gave to mankind great scriptures, indicating spiritual and mundane paths and how humanity can redeem its existence. These sages must also be revered as Divine Mothers. The cow, the earth, presiding deities for the body, sages and the Guru are all worthy of worship as Embodiments of Divine Motherhood. Although these five appear in different forms and names, they have one thing in common with the Mother. They play a protective and sustaining maternal role for mankind and hence should be revered and worshipped as Divine Mothers. (Divine Discourse, Oct 14, 1988)

நம் தேகத்தில் தெய்வம் எல்லா அங்கங்களிலும் ரஸ ஸ்வரூபமாக ஓடி, இந்த தேகத்தைக் காத்து வருகிறது. அப்படிப்பட்ட தெய்வசக்திக்கு ‘ரஸஸ்வரூபிணி’ என்ற பெயர் உண்டு. அந்த தெய்வத்தையே ‘அங்கீரஸ’ என்றும் அழைத்து வந்தனர். எனவே, நமது தேகத்தில் அனைத்து அங்கங்களிலும் ரஸஸ்வரூபமாக இருந்து காத்திடும் தெய்வங்களும் நமக்கு பிரதானமான மாத்ரு மூர்த்திகளாவர். பின்னர், இந்த உலக சம்பந்தப்பட்ட விஷயங்களில், எது செய்யத் தகுந்தது, எது செய்யத் தகாதது, எது சரியானது, எது தவறானது, எது மனிதனுக்கு உத்தமமானது, எது அவனுக்குத் தீமையானது, எது ஸ்ரேயோ மார்க்கம், எது ப்ரேயோ மார்க்கம் ஆகியவற்றைப் பற்றி அநேக பரிசோதனைகளும், பரிசீலனைகளும் செய்து அநேகவிதங்களில் இலட்சியகரமான, அனுபவபூர்வமான சாஸ்திரங்களை உலகிற்கு நல்கிய மகரிஷிகளும் கூட நமக்கு மாத்ரு மூர்த்திகளே. எனவே பசு, பூமி, தேவதைகள், ரிஷிகள், குரு ஆகிய ஐவரும் தெய்வ ஸ்வரூபமாக ஆராதித்துப் போற்றப்பட வேண்டியது மிகவும் முக்கியம். இந்த ஐவரும் வெவ்வேறு வடிவங்களிலும் பெயர்களிலும் தோன்றினாலும், அன்னையுடன் பொதுவான ஒன்று இவர்களுக்கு உள்ளது. ஓர் அன்னையைப் போலவே இவர்கள் மனித குலத்தைப் போஷித்துக் காப்பதால், இவர்களை திவ்ய மாத்ரு மூர்த்திகளாகப் போற்றி வழிபட வேண்டும்.
