Humanness originates from Ananda (bliss), grows in Ananda and merges in Ananda. This bliss is the goal of man. Man is born in bliss. To manifest bliss is the duty of man. This is the secret of the human saga. Every individual makes a variety of efforts to experience bliss. From infancy to old age, man dedicates every effort of his to secure bliss. But, this bliss is not to be found in the places he searches. When he is the very embodiment of bliss, to seek for it outside himself is sheer folly. Does any man in the world search for himself outside himself? If such a search is a sign of ignorance, equally the search for bliss outside one's self is a mark of ignorance. Water can exist without fish, but fish cannot exist out of water. A branch is part of a tree. A child is part of the mother. A branch cannot survive apart from the tree. The child cannot live without the mother. Likewise, the human existence is based on the Divine. Man is a spark of the Divine. Without the Divine, man cannot experience bliss. மானவத்துவம் என்பது ஆனந்தத்திலிருந்தே பிறந்து, ஆனந்தத்திலேயே வளர்ந்து, ஆனந்தத்திலேயே ஐக்கியமாகிறது. ஆனந்தமே மனிதனின் குறிக்கோளாகும். ஆனந்தமே மனிதனின் ஜன்மம். ஆனந்தமே மனிதனின் தர்மம். இதுவே மானவத்துவத்தில் இருக்கும் மர்மம். எனவேதான் ஆனந்தத்திற்காக ஒவ்வொரு மனிதனும் அநேக விதமான முயற்சிகளை மேற்கொள்ளுகிறான். இளமைப் பருவத்திலிருந்து வயோதிகம் வரை, ஆனந்தத்தை அனுபவிப்பதற்காகவே தான் செய்யும் அனைத்து பணிகளையும் ஆனந்தத்திற்கே அர்ப்பணம் செய்கின்றான். ஆனால் இந்த ஆனந்தத்தை அவன் தேடும் இடங்களில் காண முடியாது. தானே ஆனந்தமாக இருக்கும்போது, தனது தத்துவத்தை புறத்தில் தேட முயற்சிப்பது அறிவீனமே. உலகில் தன்னைத் தானே புறத்தில் தேடுகின்ற மனிதன் யாராவது இருப்பானா? தன்னைத் தானே தேடுவது என்பது எப்படிப்பட்ட அறியாமையோ, ஆனந்தத்தை புற பிரபஞ்சத்தில் தேடுவதும் அப்படிப்பட்ட அறியாமையே. நீருக்கு மீன் தேவையில்லை என்றாலும் நீரின்றி மீன் வாழ முடியாது. கிளை மரத்தின் ஒரு அம்சமே. குழந்தை தாயின் ஒரு அம்சமே. மரத்தை விட்டுவிட்டு கிளை உயிருடன் இருக்க முடியாது, தாயை விட்டுவிட்டு குழந்தை இருக்க முடியாது. அதே ரீதியாகத் தான் மானவத்துவத்திற்கு தெய்வமும். தெய்வத்தின் ஒரு அம்சமே மனிதன். தெய்வத்தை விட்டுவிட்டு மனிதன் ஆனந்தத்தை அனுபவிக்க முடியாது.
