Dear all,

This is to inform that 'Azhagi' group goes online today (25/01/2006). i.e. we are putting up the 'Join Azhagi group' link for the first time on www.azhagi.com so that anybody can opt to join the 'azhagi' group and be informed of all that we do and aspire for.

We registered the azhagi yahoo! group last year and were waiting for the right time to take it public. Running/managing an online group requires considerable work on our part and we were able to plan out time for the same only now. Thats the reason why we did not even inform any of our existing users about the 'azhagi' group, which we will be doing very soon, once everything regarding the group gets going smooth and fine.

All messages to this group will be moderated and hence we believe spam/junk mails will not appear in the members' mailboxes. We sincerely hope that with the support of users/members, the 'azhagi' group will meet one's expectations.

And we take this opportunity to thank all our users and well-wishers who have kept us going with passion, ever since Azhagi was released in year 2000. From a humble beginning, we have reached greater heights now.

Azhagi was commercialised in March 2002 and 'The Hindu' almost immediately wrote about it in June 2002. Since then, Azhagi has been talked/written about highly in many popular media like Sun TV, Jaya TV, Chennai FM, Kalki, Ananda Vikatan etc. - the latest being Deccan Chronicle (Sep 2005) and Mangayar Malar (Dec 2005). We have a rich group of corporate customers which includes companies like L&T (LTM), Reliance Infocom Ltd., Esab India Ltd. etc. We also have top officials (VPs, CGMs etc.) of some renowned companies as our users.

All this is because of the continued patronage from users and well-wishers across/around the world. Thanks again, from the bottom of our hearts, to all of you.

Happy Tamil Computing!

Cheers.

- Team Azhagi
