Terms and Conditions

1. Once you make a payment to purchase Azhagi,
   
   (a) It is EXPLICIT that you have tried out the trial version of Azhagi and it meets ALL your requirements, to your FULLEST satisfaction. Hence, *NO* request/claim from you for a chargeback, of any kind, at any point of time, will be entertained.
   
   (b) You have to complete the registration process (see http://azhagi.com/register.html and act accordingly), to obtain the activation password from us. Please do not expect any reminder from us in this connection.
   
   
2. The payment you make is to use the software for life. No renewal fees or kind is charged by us, annually or otherwise, to reactivate the software. However, hardware changes to your system (incl. 'hard disk formatting') or the purchase of a new system might inactivate your password, in which case you can get a new password from us. For more specific details on this, see clauses 6) and 7).
   
   
3. Azhagi Software is for use in a single computer only. It is password-protected. And, the password is restricted to that particular computer for which the registration (long) number was provided by you. The password will *NOT* work in any other computer. Hence, please decide on which computer the software is going to be installed and used, before you send the registration number, as further request for password, once given, will not be entertained. However, if you have bought the Standard/Professional version of Azhagi at their respective 2-user price, then you may ofcourse install Azhagi in 2 computer systems (they should be 'your own' computers, say a Laptop and a Desktop), send the 2(two) corresponding registration numbers, indicating clearly which registration number is for which machine and we will send you 2(two) separate passwords. Please note that you have to send the two registration numbers at the same time.
   
   If you need a multi-user license (more than 2 users), as in the case of most corporates, you can download the price quote for the same by clicking here. For any clarifications on the multi-user price quote, email us at sales@azhagi.com. If your requirement is for a corporate entity, your email should carry your full official details viz. your name and designation, company's name, address, phone and official email.
   
   
4. Since the FULL software is always available to you online for download at any time, no CD-ROM or any package of any kind will be shipped to you (if you are staying abroad) under any circumstances. The payment you make is only for procuring the 'activation password' from us. If you insist to get Azhagi in a CD (if you are in India), we shall ofcourse send it to you but please read http://azhagi.com/cd.html without fail, before you insist for a CD.
   
   
5. Frequently visit http://azhagi.com/download.html to look for software updates and important announcements. Those with internet connection can always download the latest 'Azhagi-Setup.exe' file from the download page itself. Upgrades will not be sent via CD-ROM separately.
   
   
6. In circumstances where you format your computer's hard disk, the registration number may change upon reinstallation of Azhagi. In that case, you will have to inform us the new registration number along with your purchase particulars viz. name, address, bill/receipt/order number, bill/receipt/order date and previous registration number. After our 'analyst program' certifies that the new registration number has been generated from the same computer of yours, a new password will be emailed promptly. Take full note of the above-mentioned aspect and always send the new registration number from the same computer only.
   
   
7. In circumstances where you discard your existing computer and opt/purchase a new one (equivalent to making significant hardware changes in your existing computer - for e.g. installing a new motherboard and/or hard-disk and/or cpu), you will have to inform us the registration number generated upon installation of azhagi in the new computer, along with your purchase particulars viz. name, address, bill/receipt/order number, bill/receipt/order date and previous registration number, and request* us for a new password. In the case of hardware changes to your existing computer, you will have to clearly mention us the kind of changes the computer has undergone. On receipt of all the aforementioned details, a fresh password will be emailed promptly. Before discarding the old computer or hard-disk, ensure that you have uninstalled azhagi from it completely. We consider that purchasing a new computer (equivalent to making significant hardware changes in your computer - for e.g. installing a new motherboard and/or hard-disk and/or cpu) is not a regular affair and hence after obtaining password for a new computer, we will not entertain password requisition* for yet another new computer within the next one year.
   (*) You may not make such a request within the first one year of purchase of Azhagi. If such a need arises, you have to make additional payment of Rs.500/- for "each" such request.
