How to Register Azhagi

  • Step 1 : Generating the Registration Number
    1. Visit http://azhagi.com/download.html

    2. Click on the download link (for commercial pack) in that page to download Azhagi Installation/Setup file (usually named as 'Azhagi-Setup.exe') on to the computer in which you are going to use Azhagi hereafter.

    3. Once download is complete, click on the downloaded Installation/Setup file. An installation wizard will start, to guide you through the installation process.

    4. Keep pressing 'Yes' or 'Next' until you finally see a screen with the 'Finish' button.

    5. Once you click on 'Finish' button, another screen will be displayed showing the 'Registration Number' (of the form 123-456-789-123-456-789-123-456-AZ) for your computer.

    6. Important Note:
      • If you had already installed Azhagi and failed to note the registration number, you can reinstall Azhagi to display the registration number again. No problem will arise by reinstalling Azhagi. But, before reinstalling, EXIT Azhagi application completely, if it is running.

      • Net download and installation is the quickest and simplest way to generate the registration number. In case you wish to install through a CD and generate the registration number, you can ofcourse obtain(*) our Azhagi CD-ROM directly from our office in Chennai or we can courier it to you (Naturally, the CD will be available to you only after making payment for any of the Azhagi versions). But, please note that CD is not required at all for installing/operating Azhagi at any point of time and whether you install Azhagi through the CD or from the Net, its all the same. Availing a CD does not mean that you can install Azhagi in as many computers as you wish. For more details on obtaining a CD, see http://azhagi.com/cd.html without fail.

      • (*) At times (say 'New Year'), Azhagi will be offered at a discounted price. When you buy Azhagi during such offer periods, CD-ROM will NOT be given or despatched under any circumstances. But, as abovesaid, CD is not required at all for installing/operating Azhagi at any point of time.
  • Step 2 : Making Payment
    1. Visit http://azhagi.com/price.html

    2. Use one of the payment modes available therein to make payment to us.

    3. If you want to make 'online payment' using your credit card or net-banking facility, you may straightaway visit http://azhagi.com/online.html.

    4. Email your computer's registration number (see Step 1) to us at contact@azhagi.com with Cc: to sales@azhagi.com. Your email should also carry your full name, transaction details (like Order/Bill/Receipt No., Date of purchase etc.), full address, phone number and regular email address. If (and only if) you do not have internet facilities, you may inform your registration number and other particulars over phone. We do not entertain SMS.

    5. The registration number of Azhagi is unique for each computer and hence you have to send the registration number only from the computer in which you are going to use Azhagi hereafter. However, if you have made the purchase in your individual capacity and in case you own 2 computers (they should be 'your own' computers) - say a Laptop and a Desktop, and you wish to obtain passwords for both computers, you may. In this regard, please read the Terms & Conditions, which explains this in detail. In case of corporates, we have a separate pricing system for multi-user license. The 'Terms & Conditions' explains this too.

  • Step 3 : Registering Azhagi
    1. Immediately after receiving your payment and email containing your registration number and other particulars, we will in turn email the password and other essential instructions. Considering various factors, it might take anywhere between 10 minutes to 24 hours to email you the password. Hence, in case you do not receive your password, please allow a maximum of 24 hours before you contact us again. If (and only if) you do not have internet facilities, you may obtain your password over phone.

    2. After you receive the 'activation password', start Azhagi application (NOT the setup/installation file). To start Azhagi application, you have to click on its shortcut icon in the Desktop or Quicklaunch-bar or Startmenu.

    3. Once the application is started, it will display a screen with a password box in it. If this screen is not visible, left-click (do not double-click, single-click only) on Azhagi's tray icon (you will see this at the right bottom of your computer screen, mostly adjacent to the date/time notifier) and the password box will be visible.

    4. Enter the activation password given to you carefully in the password box and click on 'OK'. Please do not cut & paste your password from the email. Type it out.

    5. If you entered the password correctly, the password screen will go off and Azhagi will get registered in your system. It will start working without any restrictions of any sort. Pop-up screens of the trial mode also will not appear.

    6. After entering password once and registering Azhagi, the password screen will still appear everytime you start Azhagi. But, no need to enter the password. Just click 'OK' (Do not click on 'Cancel') to proceed ahead. Make safe note of your registration number and activation password, for future reference.
    This completes the registration process for Azhagi.
