Save (Shortcut - Ctrl +S)
The file is always saved in rich text file (.rtf) format which is readable not only by MS-Word but by many similar editors worldwide, across platforms. Note that when you opt for 'non-transparent transliteration'(NTT), only one file will be created. When you do 'transparent transliteration'(TT), three files will be created.
For ex: If you give file name as 'test1' while saving, 'test1.rtf' will be the only file created during NTT. But, 'test1.rtf', test1`e`.rtf and test1`eb`.rtf - 3 files will be created during TT. Note that test1.rtf is your main Tamil file. test1`e`.rtf is the file holding your English text. test1`eb`.rtf is a support file. Dont delete the last two files (`e` and `eb` suffixed) mistakenly.
Note: We suggest the user to have a separate directory to hold the files generated with Azhagi and avoid saving them along with his/her other files. However, this is only a suggestion and as such, the user can save the Azhagi files in any directory of his choice.
