9 Easy STEPS - to obtain Free Password for Azhagi Basic version

Step 1
the 'Azhagi' Setup file. Click here.
If you wish to download it as a ZIP file, you may click here.
Step 2
After downloading is complete, click on the Setup file (Azhagi-Free-Setup.exe) to install 'Azhagi'. At the end of installation, a small screen with a registration number will get displayed (see sample screenshot below). Please note that this registration number is generated uniquely for each computer in which Azhagi is installed. In other words, it will not be the same as the one you see in the sample snapshot(s) below.
Step 3
Select and copy this unique registration number which you see on your screen. (Note: You can do this automatically too, by clicking the 'Copy' button on the screen).
Step 4
Open a new message for composing, in your preferred email client, say Outlook Express.
Step 5
Paste "your" registration number in the 'Subject:' line of your message. (Optionally, you may paste the registration number in the body of your message also).
Step 6
Email your message with the registration number to 'basic@azhagi.com'. You can refer to the snapshot below for the kind of email expected from you. Please *DO NOT* send us the registration number you see in the snapshot below. It is just a sample regn. no. only.
Step 7
Wait for 24 hours max., to receive a document from us via email, carrying an activation code (i.e. password) along with all other instructions. Use this given password to register the free Basic version of Azhagi in your systems and start typing freely without limitations of any kind.
Step 8
The password we send will work only in the computer for which you sent us the registration number. If you want passwords for multiple computers, you have to send the registration number from each of those computers.
Step 9
If any of your computers does not possess internet connectivity, just note down the registration no. generated in that computer and email the same via another computer having internet facility. Or, call us over phone at 91-44-42024669 or 0-98403-39750. If (and only if) time permits, we will pass on the password over phone.

Important Note

After your data is received, you will be emailed the free activation code to operate Basic version, after 24 hours max. In case you do not receive our mail carrying your activation code even after 24 hours, please check for our mail in the 'bulk/spam/junk' mails folder of your account (if you are using external email clients like yahoo!, google etc.) as sometimes even genuine mails are automatically sent to this folder by these clients (You may avoid typing any extra words in the 'message area' of your mail like 'registration', 'activation' etc., when you send your mail to us).
Even before receiving the activation code, you can try out the FULL professional version features of Azhagi. To do the same, start your Azhagi application. A password box will pop up. Do NOT enter anything in the password box. Just click 'OK' and you are free to test out ALL the features (of the professional version itself) but restrictions apply on the number of characters typed (only 100) and the duration (only 10 mts) of a session.

What one can do with the Free Basic Version?

The FREE Basic version of Azhagi provides both a first-of-its-kind Dual Screen Transliteration interface and a regular Single Screen Transliteration interface. (TamilTypewriter and Tamilnet99 keyboard layouts are also available in Single Screen interface).
The 'Dual Screen' transliteration (DST) interface will kick-start you into the world of Tamil Computing. With DST, what you type in English is always visible. So, you will easily master what to type in English to get your desired text in Tamil. Thus, DST will lay the perfect platform for you to quickly learn and grasp the extreme user'friendliness, speed, ease and flexibility of Azhagi's peerless transliteration scheme. Once you are at ease with DST, the 'Single Screen' interface will help you move into the next stage of Tamil Transliteration seamlessly, wherein you will type in English in a regular full single screen and what you will get is only the corresponding Tamil. The English text you type wont be visible.
Though DST also allows input for as many pages as you like and is the favorite of many of our users and has lots of unique advantages, DST might become a bit slow while editing large amounts of text. So, if you are planning to type hundreds of pages, we suggest you use the 'single screen' interface.
The free version also hosts an in-built Unicode Editor which allows you to seamlessly type in Unicode in 'Single Screen' intrface. You can save/email/print this Unicode text. You can copy/paste this Unicode text in any application which supports Unicode. You can ofcourse use it in blogs.
