(a) To use the Basic version free, you have to complete a registration process and obtain an 'activation code' (via email) from us. Without obtaining this activation code*, you CANNOT operate the Basic version free.

(b) The activation code is "unique" to your computer and is sent to you based on a Registration Number, which number is also "unique" to your (each) computer and generated only at the time of installation/registration of Azhagi in your (one's) computer.

(c) Considering the above mode/nature of registration, the registration process remains an 'offline' process and not online. This simple offline registration process is what is explained in our free download page.

(d) This free basic version has No Limitations of any kind. You can type as much Tamil text as you want - save, print, email and blog the same, with utmost ease.

(e) The features of the free version will vary (a new feature may be added or an existing feature may be dropped) from time to time.

(f) Even without registering for our free version, you can still try out ALL the features of the FULL 'Professional' version itself for 10 days. Click here for details. You can ofcourse choose to straightaway buy any of our versions (either online or through other modes). So, the choice is entirely yours, to go ahead and obtain our activation code for free Basic version.

(*) The activation code (password) we send may get inactivated whenever your system undergoes an hardware change (including 'hard disk formatting') or whenever you switch over to a new computer system. At that point of time, you will have to just re-register with us. That is all to it.
